I would like to know if the L134 is a rare kind of pleco??

They aren't very rare. Prices are very difficult to say what is good or bad, as they can vary at least a factor of 2 between shops in the same region, never mind away from that region. But to give an idea, I've seen L134 in shops in this country for around £30-50 - these are reasonably mature fish - but perhaps not at the level where we can say for sure which is male and female. That's around CAD 45-80. But I don't know how prices compare between here and Canada.
