Adding a new food

I feed, occaisionally, Tetra Variety Wafers. Not a complaint, but the instructions aren't overly clear to me about how to add a new one.
If I tye in the food name, select a few times a week, it says below 'keep typing'. If I try and save, I get:
Code: Select all
SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]
Out of range value adjusted for column 'parent_id' at row 1 [1264]
An SQL error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact the Board Administrator if this problem persists.
Can someone just clarify how to add a new food please?
Thanks
Martin

I'll have a look to see if I can figure out what's going on, and how to fix it.
In fact, I can reproduce the problem. So I think it would be possible to fix without too much trouble - not that I know exactly what is going wrong yet.

So, aside from the pictures all over the "my aquaria" pages being broken, the "add food" works. it's a tad tricky, becuase you have to actually CHOOSE one of the generated alternatives cateogories (Dry/Prepared, Frozen, Live).

Yes, I saw this when I moved my fish over at the weekend. It works, and think it's a good solution for the issue.
I'd also say it's resolved

Yes, however, there is a data quality monitoring / admin issue here too in so far as folks can still input incorrect things and thus there needs to be an admin facility to correct that. To me, that seems like an email alert and admin function solution - where do we capture this? In the Mats TODO (although I may well do it)?

Yeah, stick it in my "Todo" list.
