Hi,

I want to make a Amazon biotope tank. My tank size 85x40x55h. I have corydoras pandax4, cory trilitianusx 20, tetrax20,angel fish x5 and L15,Ancistrus cirrhosus.

But have any problem. I want to use silis gravel but which color?

light brown 1-2 mm or white color 0,5 mm? I didnt choose.

Thank you

Gravel is not a natural substrate for Corydoradinae Catfish, the best choice would be sand.

Corys do need sand as the substrate and brown is more natural then white. The 1-2 mm grain size seems ok as long as the grains are round (no sharp edges) - the 0.5 mm size may pack too tightly. only a thin layer is really needed, so if you wanted to root plants yo may have to think of other ways to accomodate them

There are many sources of Amazon Biotope information on the internet. Here http://www.amazonian-fish.co.uk/ is one I like.
