According to the wholesaler they were exported from Colombia.

These things are notoriously difficult to identify to species, so I guess that is as good as any for an ID.

I can't find any picture in the catelog of a Pimelodella with dark markings in the dorsal. These are just like streamlined Brachyrhamdia marthae.

They grew a little bit
Take a good look at the tail of the slender one, is it a male or another species?
I think it is a sexual diformism, sinc they are from the same shipment and didn't show any differencen when they were smaller.

I've had three just like that - one with a longer hind half of the body and much longer tail while the other two were like the rest of yours. Never gotten a good ID on them. You think the one with the longer tail is a male?
