Hi guys,

I can´t find any infos about the best water parameters for this species. I am mostly interested in the temperature, should it be about 24 °C like other species need? Thinking about combine them with Trachelyichthys sp. "Tapajós".

Where does it come from exactly, anybody knows? My LFS says "Peru", so does fishbase: "Middle and upper Amazon River basin".

What does it distinguish from A. atronasus? I didn´t find pictures of this one.

And finally, has it been bred by somebody? Any tips?

I caught A. inermis myself in Bolivia, and now I am thinking about getting some of this genus.

I reckon 24C should be fine though I've never kept them myself (you might want to pm those who have it listed under mycats registered keepers).

In terms of locality the holotype was from an unknown location so it has been listed as occurring in Middle and upper Amazon River basin: Bolivia, Brazil and Peru based on non type specimens.

I think the cf is because they cannot be 100% sure it is atronasus but having seen the description it seems to match.
