Hi everybody!

lol.... I'am new here and I just want to say hi. I'am 13 and as you can see I have alot of fish...lol.. My minnows are at http://petfish.net/yabbse/index.php?boa ... 0#lastPost my other fish are at my website and I don't have a pic of my Mosquito Fish yet...lol...and I live in Oklahoma...I do play an instrament..violin!...lol..I'am not sure what kind of minnows I have. How wierd there is over 300 minnows in North America...too bad I don't know what they are. :cry: that is sad. Hmmm I wonder what they are??? I don't have any catfish but I'am planing on getting one...lol...I love animals...lol....My newest drawing is called God's Critters.

You can't post images like that. You have to host them on another site, and then link them to the url. If you want a place to host your pictures, read the sticky in the "What is my Catfish" forum and email Tim (clothahump) to get you set up.

BTW, I think your minnows are Bigeye shiners (Notropis boops).

They are supposedly fairly common in Oklahoma (distribution was one criterion I used to narrow down the identification).
Websites don't offer much in the way of husbandry information, if that is what you are looking for, but here is one.

That looks like them, but you have to find out the location of Turner Falls, that is where I caught them.

Turner Falls would be in south-central Oklahoma, which lies within the distributional range of the fish (I think).

yes it is; are "pogies" and shiners the same?? maybe not spelled right?? we called 'em pogies back in L.A.- (Lower Alabama) HAHAHAHAHA! 8)
