Please help to identify my pleco

I bought three fish all similar to this when smaller as L104's they are now over double in size (about 9-10cm) and look nothing like my L104's. any idea?

Hi,

this species is not as common as P. compta for example, but also not really hard to get.
They get imported regularly from Colombia.

so is it safe to say in australia they could be pretty hard to find? think iv got 3 males =((

They are indeed "not on the allowed for import list", so they would be the result of smuggling if new ones come in.

Sorry, didn“t notice you are from Australia, thats quite more difficult.
If the one above is fed well, it is a male. Maybe you can provide pictures of the rest, to be sure about the genders?

Almost nothing is allowed into Australia apart from a silly little list of bog standard stuff. :-Q
The other 1 i have is a male also judging by the lack of width around the stomach region. x(
