L66 attempt 2

so after my bad luk with my first L66, my supplier orderd me a new one pending a water sample which tested fine. (i knew it would) i raised the temperature in the tank to 82 degrees, other than the temp, i dont know why the last one died other than it was just so small. chances are the new one is probably going to be the same size (about an inch) any advice would be much apreciated.
20 gallon tank
gravel bottom
plastic and silk plants and ornomants (nice log for hiding)
emporor 400 filter (running dual amonia neutralizing crystals and regualr carterages)
7 danios
5 baby tiger barbs
4 panda corys
2 pepperd corys
1 eclips cat (i know he will get big, but he is small now and i only see hime once a month if that)
i feed bottom feeder tablets like they are going out of style (5 a day 10 a night) and they are usually all gone by morning.
