Hey everybody i was just looking for some recomendations for a 180 gallon (6x2x2) it can be 1 solitary cat that is a bigger size or a group of smaller sized cats! Im looking for south american cats!

How about 500 ?

What tankmates are you looking at? Although they have waned in popularity since the introduction of L Numbers, I still think a big adult is a stunner of a show piece. More out of the ordinary would be a nice adult .

well my lfs is getting a couple ! but i do agree on the idea of a gibby! I have always wanted one! Not too hard to get a hold of either!

I think im going to hold out for a ! can`t wait for them to roll around to my lfs!

be prepared for extremely high prices on them.

Oh I know! My lfs is a wholesale store so the prices are cut in half and he said 400-450 so after I save enough to get my 6x2x2 I'll have so save for another while! Oh well getting one has been a dream since the beginning ! One that I'm not soon going to let go !

I'd expect that L24/L25 will come down in price somewhat in not too distant future, as they are now available for export from Brazil again. But they weren't budget fish before the stricter controls of export were put in place, so don't expect them to be really cheap, particularly not the larger specimens.

Mats i expect them to be anything but cheap. But as i said before getting one is a dream that i wont soon let go!
