All,
The image caption page has now been updated to the new format. This has all the functionality of the old page and I've taken the opportunity to add in some warning and error messages, made it faster and (for admins) is linked to the caption edit function.
There is also a new link for each caption to search again for the same caption on other images. This is now also available on the image pages and thumbnails views where captions are shown.
For example, here is a search for "clutch of eggs". This will help regular users of the site find "that" image of something if they can't remember precisely what species it belonged to.
Cheers,
Jools

Would be good if you could tag images?

It would be good, and I've talked about it before but I'm darned if I can find where. My views were to be able to add tags like "spotted", "red" or "suckermouth" which would then aid species ID. What were you thinking about?mummymonkey wrote:Would be good if you could tag images?

Much the same. Adding some tags to an image or article such as "fry", "whiptail", "black dorsal" etc.Jools wrote:It would be good, and I've talked about it before but I'm darned if I can find where.
