Hi

The owner fed them primarily on newly hatched brine shrimp (a micro crustacean), but they will probably mean small bloodworm when it says 'worms'.

The Baensch/Mergus Catfish Atlas Vol 1 by Evers & Seidel list how they are bred. Basically it advocates being kept on their own, good water management, sand substrate, and a large open area of sand. It says it is best not to have any or many decorations/caves etc. The male carries the eggs on his lower lip. They have been bred in moderate hardness of water, pH around neutral and temp between 25-29C.
