i am new here. just to share my recently acquired L70 zombies.. seems like not much interest in this L number hypan pleco..

Those are some beautiful catfishes. Thanks for sharing! Are you going to be breeding these and selling the offspring?

Very nice. They may get overlooked by their relatives, but I find it pretty interesting that they don't have a pattern. I've only got so much tank space, though, so these will have to wait!

Thanks.. will definitely try to breed them. Hoped i will have the same success as my L46.. selling or not am not sure.

yah they are pretty plain looking, that is why they have been pretty much overlooked by their more outlandish hypan cousins. they do turn colour when stress exibiting blotches of uneven colour, like a zombie.. haha

I have a breeding group of these nice and special Hypans. You do need to learn to appreciate them in the beginning.
The fry do have a striped pattern when young. After about 6 weeks it starts to disappear and they become a plain grey or black.
