Hi group,
I read somewhere that plecos were eating snails....well, I bought 2 weeks ago a new plant and some days ago started to see 1 snail....I thought well wait a bit and see what happens with the galaxias.....tonight appeared 5 or 6 snails of various sizes.... .... it seems that my pleco doesn't like them....so will start catching them again! Will put also the trap during the night! have a nice week! Giovanna

HI!

Well Leporacanthicus galaxias are snail eater but don't count on them to erradicate all of them.
So better remove them by hand first...again like fish it is also a good thing to quarantine plants or at least desinfect them. I read somewhere that a little short bath in water with a little bit of javel....

Cheers
Yann
