I have had 333's, 134's, 66's and a few other varieties, and I am wondering if they tend to be slower growers.. Or can anyone reccomend tips for getting these little buggers to grow...
I do decent water changes pretty regularily, feed a mixture of live and prepared foods, but they seem to be pretty slow growing..any ideas would be great...

I feed mine mostly just flake and it takes roughly 7 months for fry to reach 1 inch in size. The new thing is probiotics which they claim makes fish grow faster, but I haven't seen any products available yet to try.

Feed what? What temp? What size tank? Define do water changes? More info please . They take a couple of years to get to a mature enough size to spawn. If that sounds on track, then yes, they are slow growing .

I feed Live: Blackworms, Whiteworms, grindal worms, frozen: b/s, bloodworms, prepared: Thera A+, kens shrimp sticks, little flake,
minimum tank sizes, 30 gal, (although I do have some L-66's (6) in a ten)
tanks have at least 2 filters each on them whether sponge & cannister, or u/g & hang on or couple sponge.
water changes at least 25% weekly, temps range from 78-82 F.

Maybe it's because I look at them daily, but they don't seem to be putting on size (particularily the younger ones that are about 1-1 1/2"...

They appear to be eating and in fact, the larger ones of a few of the species are pretty active so I don't think they are fading on me or anything... I'm just so used to quicker growth on the younger fish, like on my Longfinned albino Bristlenose, or my corys...

I find the L134's grow super fast. They go from yoke sack to 3/4" in the first month.
They slow a bit ater that but are about 1" at 2 months and then 1 1/2" at 4 to 5 months. After that it is a slow steady growth.
At a year they are in the 2" to 3" length for me.
I keep mine at 84 F and feed lots!
