Thinking about getting either of these species and didn't know if anyone had a preference on which one to get. They seem to look fairly similar but very undecided still. Looking to acquire a roughly 10inch adult

L014 is a better looking fish IMHO due to the orange fin edging as opposed to just a black fish with white spots, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

In the UK, L14 are very available and easily obtained. It's a lovely fish for sure.

L253 I reckon is equally lovely, but try and find one! It could be confused with L48 which has a higher profile.

Royal Sunshine??? :-D

Thanks for the replies folks. I do agree with the L14 being the more attractive adult species. I had a nice one lined up, but when i went to go pick it up, it was covered with ich...and the seller didn't even know it till i pointed it out to him (tough to notice with their colors). He's gonna treat him and we'll see what happens.
Really like the 253's look aswell. Maybe I'll get one of these some day to satisfy my pleco addiction, but it does seem they are a more difficult species to find. Thanks again
