Hi there.
Can anyone help me ID these guys, really crappy pics, but they don´t want to have their picture taken..
They are bought as Sturisoma Aureum, but I think they are not. I´m leaning more towards L010a...?

Hi,
Lamontichthys spp. are by far more sensitive compared to Sturisoma spp.
However, I don't have any own experience with this species.
Usually the imported specimen are not in a good shape and they are best kept alone as they easily starve otherwise.
I've heard that yoghurt is a good starter food.
Water should be rather warm (26-28 °C) and with a good current and very clean, pH around neutral.
They do not tolerate bad water conditions, breeding is possible but a real challenge and even more raising the fry seems to be very difficult.
Cheers,
