Hi Elwood,
It's funny, that when people want to sex their loricariids, they always provide pictures from the side, which are not very helpful, and when people want an ID, they provide pictures from above, which likewise, is not very helpful. Anyway, some pictures from the side would assist. You get a better idea of the proportions of the fish this way.
From what I can see these look like
, but I'm not an expert with these fish.

Number 4 looks like it could be a L401. Number 2 looks different too. IMO.
