I'm setting up a small species tank - but here in Florida , with the air con on 78 - 80 degrees is about what the tank runs at ( as well as the house).
I was thinking of keeping Pandas ( mainly because they are small ) - Does anyone have experience keeping them at this temp ?

I know Adolfoi's are known for higher temps ( and they'd be nice) - but I'm having a hard time finding them this time of year.

Any input would be appreciated,
Patty

To my believe that's too warm for Panda's, coming from the cooler riversystems in Peru. Sterbais, Duplicareus, aso are a real tropical ones. Aad

If you manage to find some Adolfois then they would be a good choice. I keep mine at 26 to 28˚C

I've played with some things over the last couple of weeks & finally came up with blowing a small fan over the top of the tank & I've cooled it down to a consistent 75 degrees- so I'm happy & hope they will be happy.
Thanks for your input.

I had thought to stock Adolfois, but have been unable to find them.
From what someone told me, I came to understand that they get them only seasonally.

Anyway- Panda's are on the way , to arrive on Thursday.
Thanks again,
Patty
