I want to have 8 Brochis Splendens, 2 Megalechis thoracata and 1 Baryancistrus Demantoides, could this work in a 55 gallon tank with 48 by 12 inch foot print? The only other tank mates would be a school of ten black skirt tetras (Gymnocorymbus ternetzi) Also this tank will be lightly planted with low/medium light.

Yeah I am not sure about the M. Thoracata.
I feel like the brochis alone will make it hard to get food to the l200 who is a little shy.

I don't think M thoraca will take that shyness away: Their behaviour is too different to do that. I don't think the total is too many fish, but adding the M thoraca for the L 200 will not work

I meant the m thoracata and the brochis would eat all of of the food before the L200 could not that they would help with the shyness.
