Peckoltia Brevis? or something else?

Hi all,

I've been offered some sort of L number but am unsure as to what it is. L numbers other than the common bristlenose and peppermint are very rare in Australia. The person is offering them as Peckoltia Brevis. I can't find them in the Catelog. I did find an old thread were there was a discussion they have been re-classified as Panaqolus maccus?

Any help with info and general husbandry would be great.

If he looks like this:

then he is a P. maccus - L104 - Clown pleco. Very peaceful. Most of the time pretty shy but sometimes comes out. Seems to prefer meaty foods and driftwood. Occasionally he will eat some zuccini. Seems to prefer the skin. 8)

THanks for the replies guys. I've had a good search over the internet and found most of the english sites I think. My question is more aimed at what P. brevis is called here at planet catfish. The L# that it is referred to by most other sites doesn't appear here, and the species name doesn't appear here either.
