So a lfs that I frequent has a tank labelled as Milagros Cory, searched the net, closest I can find is Milegros Cory a common name for C. Fowleri which these look nothing alike. At $29.99 a fish I would like to really know what they are before commiting. Thanks in advance.

Hi Supercorygirl, :d
I agree that name "Milegros Cory" is a trade name for C. Fowleri, your fish are not Fowleri.
have a look at http://www.planetcatfish.com/common/ima ... ge_id=2358
Species CO91. This may be a possibility. $29.99 each is a bit steep.

They are close, I couldn't get a decent shot with a fully erect dorsal flare but the first ray starts an oblong large single dot, the rest is clear. I've talked to the owner of lfs and that's what his supplier was calling them but with all the "saleable" names being used, making it hard on us poor aquariumnist lol.

Supercorygirl,
Kim is correct;
After checking Ian's supplement book, there they are!
I have never seen them and I just paid $40.00 each for C. Eques
so I guess $30.00 each is fair for an even rarer fish...LOL! (*)
Good luck with them.
