Hi!
It does not grow bigger than 25-30 cm long... one of the smallest of the Panaque nigrolineatus group. Certainly the best of the group to fit aquarium requirements....
Cheers

When they get biiger, say around 8" or more, they are not shy and will readily hang out in the lighted part of the tank. At that size, they are very aggresive and will chase any plecos that intrude into their territory. Mine 10" 'green terror' readily charges at its relatively smaller royal cousins( two 8" L27c and one 8" 27a). And its a greedy fellow too when ity comes to feeding time!

Hi,
Thanks a lot for your replys
I would like to ask you some more questions:
How many years take them to reach 10''?
When they grow larger and get territorial,do they bite the other fishes or they just chase them away from its territory?
Thank you in advance

Hi Kosta,
I bought mine at its present size so I can't really tell u how long it takes for him to get to this size. But I had a 2" specimen and it took around 4 years for it to reach 5-6" before I sold it.
As for the current L191, I did saw him chasing my pseudas (8-10") around but I never saw him biting them. But there was once when I saw some bite marks just behing the head region of my 9" L24 and I really suspect its from the L191, a.k.a "green terror".
