Baryancistrus L047 mango/magnum pleco grow to about 11" total length and mine have been in pH 7, idealy acidic 6.5-6.8. However do not add one if your tank is newly set up wait until the filter has run in for a wile.

well, not just running, but cycled. if you've got a new tank, and you've cycled it properly, with or without fish, it should be fine for a pleco. My suggestion would be to wait a month or 2 and let a bit of algae start growing... there's no reason for this, you'll have to feed the pleco wafers and things anyway, but algae does give them something to do ;)

Hi!

Welcome here and enjoy!!!
With such tank you can have some Loricariidae around 10-12cm/4-5in or smaller. A pair or a trio should be fine.
Cheers
