Just to let everyone know I am undertaking a "behind the scenes" project that affects every species, my cats, my aquaria and my blog image on the site. They're being moved over to a new storage structure and while it's easy to do the majority, the minority are just being mopped up now.

Yes, that's right. There are lots of them! Slowly getting through them - this change doesn't have any direct benefit to all the Planet users I'm afraid, but it was necessary as the behind-the-scenes way images files were stored was getting cumbersome now that we're way past 30,000 images.

This is now fixed. I am working through the ~15,000 images on the site to check they are all present and correct (there are only a few dozen issues) and then I will go onto checking the article pics (i.e. shane's world, book reviews etc).

Thanks Dave, these are both now fixed. I have now fixed all books, general and cotm articles (I think) and am plodding through fixing broken images in Shane's World.

All of these are now fixed. I'm having a purge on these errors today, got a couple hundred done. Not sure how many still to go...
