I would like to add a " schooling " catfish to a large tank. I'm looking at both Auchenipterichthys coracoideus and Ageneiosus atronasus. I'm looking to purchase 10-15. Do these catfishes enjoy a strong current? These two species have a streamline body shape , I would assume they would? These seem to be secrective, after established and undisturbed, would a large school of either species school together like tetras ?

Hi
Of the two you have chosen, I'd say you are much more likely to see the in a school and being active, although I have heard of being active in a largish group, but much less so that the Ageneiosus.
Give them a medium to strong current, with lots of open space with some a few large leaved/tall plants and you should see them all the time.
