Is there any catfish in the that looks like a pictus but can be kept in a 26 gallon? I just like the long-barbel look.

Have you tried sorting the Cat-eLog by size?
The smallest of the Pimelodidae = Long-barbelled catfish is 38 mm:

Heptapteridae are close to Pims in appearance. Smallest 24 mm

I am not sure about availability in your part of the world but the following are small & available from time to time
- also other species - marthae, imitator...
- also other species...
Any of these take your fancy?

I think Mystus carcio is a good replacement. This species is quite hardy and regularly available in the trade as well.
