Sangam Cories?

There are some cories being sold around here labelled "Sangam cories". They look very similar to virginiae with some quite minor differences. The shopkeeper is unable to provide any information on them. The only information I have been able to find is that apparently in the UK virginiae were sold as "Zanagama cories". Are these just virginiae? If not, does anyone have any insight?

never heard of
"Sangam cories".
or
"Zanagama cories".
I think a picture would be the best bet in sorting out this problem.

Would agree a pciture would sort it out, but maybe the name is a bastardisation of San Juan?

I know of one person in the UK (through the internet) that also purchased cories sold as Sangam cories. I will try to get a pic up soon.

Corydoras virginiae. There is a species that is quite similar that has fine spotting over the upper 2/3 of the body but this has no valid name or 'C' number.
