I can reproduce this on the home-page on the official site, but not when I use "my" local copy. Not sure why.

That's a big 10-4 regarding this home page display bug.

even on my mobile devices as well as the PC.

note it did not ask me to log in again which it usually does after a "release"

I'm initially having trouble replicating the issue.

For the record (i.e. my nefarious purposes), the error message shown reports something up with ./common/functions/get_profile_var.php specifically an illegal string offset for the variable/tag "PROFILE_FIELD_NAME".

This means it's probably only an issue for some users and depends on user control panel (UCP) settings in the profile tab.

Initial thoughts are it's a improved level of checking stuff in php 5.4 (which we recently upgraded to) combined with certain user profile conditions.

I've made an initial guess/fix, is it still a problem for anyone?
