Large Cats

Hi All,

I have a sorubimichthys planiceps about 4 feet long. I can only enter a size up to about a meter. For those of you concerned, the fish is in an 8'x24' tub of about 16,000L capacity. While not oversized, I think it's ok for now. Anyway, I can't enter the size of the fish because 1,000 mm is the max. Suggestions?

I'll have a look at allowing you to add an extra zero to that size, will let you know when its done.

Hi!

This question's regarding the "My Cats" page, correct? OK, with entering the length in millimeters, you are absolutely right about there being only a 4-character maximum: with this, the maximum length enterable is actually "9999".

So, your 4' cat should be about 1219.2 mm; unfortunately, decimals can't be entered on the species pages in the "My Cats" page, so I'd round down to 1219 mm to use as a good figure.

9,999 mm sure would make for a massive catfish though... Heh heh, imagine a Cnidoglanis 33.33 feet long:
it certainly wouldn't be "just another pretty face"! :d

Whoops!! Sorry about that! I just tried it out, editing one of my existing species' profiles, and yup, 1000 mm is as high as it goes.

Sorry, I really should check my facts... :-Q

OK, so the size limit has been increased to 1500, bear in mind the size should be SL, not TL, so I hope this is enough and I've also improved a number of other bits of validation as well.

Can someone (OP?) let me know this is all working to your needs now?

Cheers,

Jools
