Hypancistrus L173 breeding

In november 2012 I bought some L173 youngsters in Germany. These came from the same source as the pictures in the cat-e-log.

Sunday 16th of november could I spot one couple together in a cave, the day after I allready found the first clutch of eggs guarded by the male.
After 3 days I took the eggs away and did them in an egg tumbler, the breeding tank is also housed by some Geophagus and I wouldn't take the risk to loose some of these fry.

Hatching of the eggs between day 4 and 5 after laying the eggs. Afterwards I helped them myself coming out of the eggshell.

and beautiful plecos, I have always wanted some L173's but just do not have the room
