Size of hyalobagrus flavus?

Hi all
I'm just starting to attempt to spawn my group of hyalobagrus, although I know the chances are very very slim. I got them from two different places and have had some of them for a year or so and some for a few months. I'm 99% sure that they are hyalobagrus flavus, as they look exactly like the ones on the cat-elog, with no black stripe on their dorsal fin, but the one thing that makes me doubt this is the size given for hyalobagrus flavus, which is 1.8". I currently have 8 and the only 2 that are even approaching that size are two large, gravid females of about 1.6 and 1.4". All the others are just over an inch, maybe 3cm. I'm wondering whether anyone else has any and can tell me whether my group is stunted or whether they are normally just a bit smaller than the size stated on the cat-elog?
Thanks

The size given in the Cat-eLog is the maximum size, so I would not worry too much about it.
