Hello,

Here a female Ancistrus "Tocantins" which was donated to me a few months ago by a friend:

Is this the same fish as Ancistrus "minutes" which is shown on this movie?

Arjan, your video doesn't work.
And besides, it's very likely not the same fish. Could be the same species -)

You outsmarted me again, Marc.
My English is at the same (poor) level as my Forumskills.

You are absolutely too modest. There's nothing wrong with your English or your skills.
Afaics your specimen looks quite different (read: much nicer) compared to the ones in the video.

Those two fish are shaped and patterned quite differently. A. minutus are on my wish list for fish, while the A. "rio tocantins" I've spawned hundreds of.

Would you say these are A. minutus on the video?

They look like the other video I saw of fish identified as A. minutus. Am I sure that makes them positively identified? I wish ;). They do look like they very well could be.
