hello i need help for identificate my bristlenosses, they are ancistrus full red and ancistrus full red long fines, males have bristles and eyes are common black. In spain nobody knows about loricaryds, maybe other hobbysts can give me more information about my specimens (procedence river, listed in l or lda?, link FAQ in this page about them?). thank you!

is where you will find them for now - they are known in English as super reds.

so they are cataloged as cirrhosus. and what is the meaning of cf?? cat-fish? and sp??

nobody know were was the first one captured? i heard about Peru, but no specify river.

cf. Literally means "confer." An animal appears similar to an identified species, but without certainty or confirmation.

If you are referring to your reds, they are a selectively bred tank strain, not a wild type fish, so no location.
