I bought a dozen catfish about three years ago in hopes they they would start breading. I caught this guy in a minnow trap the other day and think its a small catfish. Could someone confirm this please? TIA Doug!

That's not a catfish. It looks like some kind of sucker (Catostomidae) to me. Probably a shorthead redhorse (Moxostoma macrolepidotum).
