I am here again to ask for help, you all was so helpful in the advise in getting my black schultzeis to breed which I am pleased to say I tried your suggestions and it worked, so now I need help with my long fin albino corys. I have at least one cory that follows my females and eats the eggs as soon as they are laid. I dont know what to do except to watch and remove the ones I see eat the eggs, and I can put them in my pleco nursery. Any and all suggestions welcome. Thank you so much.

Hi debbeesm23,

Do you mean remove the fish that are eating the eggs, or remove the eggs? I guess if the fish that are eating the eggs are not of the same species that is participating in the spawning, then sure remove them. But if they are of the same species and might be participating in the spawning activity, then I, personally, would remove the eggs and put them in a separate hatching tank or other device.

Cheers, Eric
