Hara filamentosa?

Bought this as Hara filamentosa a while ago. No geographic data available. I would appreciate your experienced opinion. Hope my pics would allow at least to guess the species.

Hi dmcat,
Your second photo shows clearly an extension on the first ray of the upper caudal fin lobe. According to the CLOG for H. filamentosa,
CLOG wrote: can be distinguished from congeners (except
and
) in sometimes having (vs. always lacking) a filamentous extension to the first principal ray of the upper caudal-fin lobe;
So that narrows your options down significantly.

Moreover, on closer inspection your caudal peduncle is about 2.5X longer than it is high, which is consistent with
filamentosa not
longissima based on the CLOGs. So I'm going with
filamentosa.
But @silurus is the expert here. If I were you, I'd believe his ID before you believe mine!

Do you remember how big the fish eventually grew to?

Thanks Eric and Silurus! Just measured them: standard length is ca. 55 mm; total length ca. 67 mm

Size indicates filamentosa.
