Increased L25 activity?

For some reason my 14 inch L25 has had a period of increased activity - he looks healthy but is swimming the majority of the day. He is still eating and looks healthy. No obvious change in tank characteristics that I recognize. Has anyone experienced similar activity from a pseudo? Any possible explanations? He's acting more like an L95 which are incessantly searching for food.
