Hi Yann:
Did you mention that L-200 are becoming extinct?? Because the number of these plecos has gone down dramatically recently and the prices have gone up... ANy ideas??

i don't think L200 are becoming extinct as local importers have just bring in a new batch of L200. they are quite common actually...
someone did mentioned green, but not refering to L200.

Hi!
I really doubt L200 is hard to find!
They are rather pretty common!
Maybe a problem at the exportator or possibly the rainy season have make them difficult to catch!

Yann (and others),
Now is actually the high dry season down here and lots of Orinoco loricariids are arriving at the exporters in Bogota. Large L 200 (over 6 inches) can be found everywhere. I am sure they will start making it to Europe and the US soon.
