I have a L014 Pleco in my 75 Gallon tank, he used to be alone , i've added some Convict cichlids into his tank,
how do i make sure he is getting the food ? he's always in the cave, but i noticed he does grow faster when i feed him frozen fish.

any tips? I don't think he likes veggies.

L014 is one pleco that is not going to let himself starve unless he is sick. Id you see the comvicts eating the food you have for him I would simply add more.

Is there some "cave" for the L14? Once it takes up residence there, you can "hand feed" it wafers/pellets, and hopefully the convicts can't get in to the cave to steal food.

You can also try feeding just before the lights go out. Then there is food in the tank when he leaves his cover.

thanks! yup he has a cave of his own I'll try to drop some food directly into his cave at night.
i noticed he likes frozen fish though.
