Has anyone kept Otocinclus cocama long term? Seems like most people I know can't keep them past a few months. Some years ago, in my early planted tank days, I had a few that were doing well for some weeks until I lost them to a CO2 accident.

They are just soo expensive, considering many of the imported otos will die early by stress, starvation or injuries. That makes it a bad gamble, especially, since some don't even look nice enough to be worth the price at all.
If you want a group of 10 you will probably have to buy 20, with costs of more than 10€ per fish, well... not many are willing to take that risk.
