Pterygoplichthys gibbiceps or some bizarre pleco?

Greetings.... :d I bought a pleco at PetSmart that was called by them a "hi fin spotted pleco." He does look like the pics of those that I have seen except that he has a different colour pattern on him. He is currently 4 inches long, so I am assuming he is still pretty young. But his colour isn't really the same even as the pics of juveniles I've seen. I just can't seem to find a pleco pic that looks exactly like him as far as the colour pattern is concerned. I would be interested to hear any comments you all have as to if he is indeed a P. gibbiceps, a variation of that or even something else. He does seem to have about 12 dorsal rays and I have read that P. gibbiceps has 10+, usually 11-13. Is that correct? Thanks very much.

I believe I have a positive ID thanks to looking at some more photos on this website. Would you agree that he is a Pterygoplichthys joselimaianus?

Good that you figured it out yourself. This means that the website is working as it should.
