fancy pleco breeding is still new in singapore. not a lot of people know about their existence. flowerhorn and arowana are more popular with majority of the fish keepers.

Hi!
Well here in the French speaking part of Switzerland it is probably worst has not many shop are willing to order these and when they does they come in awfull shape and awfull price.
The German speaking part of Switzerland is a bit better because of the proximity of Germany, but this has yet to come here!
Concerning people experienced and breeding these it is also the same here. But that is mainly because peole only buy one individual of several species and ae not keeping large enough group to attempt breeding!
Cheers

Am thinking of collecting some PSEUDAS...4 inches or less...

It's kinda fun seeing your fish grow...and you kinda get an idea how old it is if you start raising/keeping it when it's still a juvenile (unless it's stunted  )

Imagine buying a large pleco...not knowing that it has only a day to live (natural death  )...hahaha :P I know that's silly.

Am still waiting for some L24s, 25s, 160s and 273s...Plecoman has at least 3 of those each (doesn't want to sell them)...and he's got tons of 114s...all sizes (as if he's been cloning the li'l critters).

He's got an L65 for $32...am still waiting for a discount :)

Or maybe I should pay my electric bill first...hmmmmmm :?

I had a 5" Leopardus early last year but he passed away after what I can only suppose was an internal bacterial infection. He seemed too thin (but no worms in sight) when I bought him and although he ate well, still seemed to fade away. Havn't seen any since although my lfs has L282 in stock and other pseudos as well. Lovely fish, all of them and your little guy is a real stunner. Well done on a great purchase!! 8)

 That's verging on scandalous. I must say it is unusual here, most dealers recognise that it is easier and more profitable to sell groups of fish from the same box than import from all over to sell one at a time.

 You need to "educate" your dealer! 8)
