Any idea where I can get these Stateside?
These are too small and they want nearly $20 to ship across the pond.
I may resort to making my own with Legos...

Back in the late 1960s and early 1970s, we used to get those (but made out of stainless steel) in California. Sorry, no help I know. Just thinking out loud.

As stated above, these basically went out with the old air driven under gravel filters. They also cause the tank to vibrate from the action of the air pump. I have not seen any research on the effect of 24/7 vibrations, but have to believe it would really bother some fishes. I'll bet you could build something much better with materials from Home Depot that used foam to dampen vibrations for a few bucks.

I tend to hang them, the string bags you get oranges or bulbs in are good.

In some places where the pump is not a big one, I will hang it by its electrical chord. A nail, screw or small hook is all I need.

I have one of those hanging shelves. Never used it for very long. You need to pad where it touched the glass to damp vibrations. I have mine (black) hanging from another shelf not on a tank. If you really want one, I would be happy to send it to you for the cost of shipping. But I would agree that there are much better solutions as noted above.

Thank you guys for the suggestions.

I was asking because on my 55 and 40 Cube I have to put them on the floor of the stand, run the airline all the way up the back and then all the way to the bottom of the tank (and the 40 actually shares a line with an airstone and a small air-driven filter in a 5 gallon nano tank). I will probably wind up hanging them up.

Thank you all for the help and the offer of giving me one. I appreciate it 😉🎉😀!
