Peckoltia furcata? ID confirmation requested

I got the fish pictured in a lump deal at a pet store going out of business. The owner said he thought the might be Peckoltia brevis and they were labeled something else (braueri maybe) when they came in. Looking through the Cat-e-log they look closer to furcata to me but I am looking for confirmation. Also, I'm thinking they are a pair, any thoughts on sexes?
Thanks

Thanks Eric, that does appear to be it. Once they settle in I will see if I can spot odontodes to confirm my sexes.

The pictured fishes are P. brevis.
But A./P. furcata is in the trade as well right now. Pier Aquatics got the first bigger bunch this spring and Amazon-Aquatics in Germany also got some.

What makes them brevis vs. furcata or L205? They look like a match for 205 to me.

Morning,
I just think L205 might be a variation morph of P. brevis. Yours match L 205 very well, if you want to distinguish between both.
P. furcata is more elongated, has a deeply forked caudal fin and a different pattern.

Thanks Daniel!
It is certainly possible L205 and brevis are the same species. Maybe until a formal description is published I will call them Peckoltia cf brevis (L205). I'm not sure I can use the cf, have to look up my nomenclature rules.

I was able to get a good shot of the tail of one of them, I think the suspected female. Looking through the Cat-e-log I am leaning more towards L205 and not brevis. None of the brevis pictures show much of a fork in the tail, but the L205 pictures do.
