Thanksgiving morning. Besides God, family, friends, a job, abundant delicious food (anticipated), and everything else, I'm thankful to be able to walk outside and collect dead Manzanita tree branches for my aquaria. #ThanksgivingDinnerForPlecos #MyOwnStumpery

That looks great, and certainly well weathered.

Is it to add wood to existing aquariums or do you have something new in mind?

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks Marc. The wood is just for saving as needed. I do need more wood in a couple of existing tanks, and I'm converting one 20 gallon long cory tank to a pleco tank.

But most of these pieces are 6-8 feet long, so I'll need to cut them to fit. :-D

I put together a collage of the photos and video I made while collecting. In the end, I had to leave some of the branches behind, but I got a LOT of good pieces to work with. ;-)

Great video Eric. It kills me to think how much manzanita I chopped up and burned in brush piles in my youth.
