HI,
I have 5 Corydoras paleatus (adults, already breeding) but my question is: one of them has extra long fins, reaching the tail. is this normal for an adult cory?
Thanks,

What is normal? If you want to know whether this is bred or not, it is. There are longfin paleatus in the wild, but these have males with a dorsal two, perhaps three times the length of a females'.

yes, and my question was because I have not seen (or not look hard enough?) pictures of C Paleatus with fins this long.
thanks for your info.
bye the way, this morning we found another gift from the Corys in the tank, (first Corys fry are a bit over a month now, 20+ of them including 6 albino) for these new eggs, we will try to remove them from tank and hope most of them survive

HOLY MACKERAL, hahaha .. Ummmhmmmm well .... I've never seen that before, I'm wondering how does it swim? This " style " of fish isn't for me, but I'm sure someone would be willing to pay big money for it.

I have one similar, its fins are not so long as yours but they are certainly abnormally long. I just guessed it was an inbreeding deformity as there is not constancy to its fin length. They dont seem to effect its swimming or general happiness at all, as far as i can tell.
