I keep waiting for the venue to be moved a lot closer to New York. If I cannot drive to it within 4 or 5 hours, I do not go any more. CatCon is almost over that limit. I am sure I miss a lot of great events like this one.
*sigh*

I had a a great time. I had the pleasure to meet Andy in person after a few pm. Good times at the auction I even took Teds shirt off his back, I really enjoyed that moment. The whole event was awesome and such wonderful hosts. They even cater my need (gluten free) Meghan putting up with my jokes and what a better roommate than bekateen.
Chris, I am on the other side of NY and still was a 13 hour drive. I flew needless to say. By the way I maybe planning a trip to NYC and see a couple fish rooms, wink wink Chris
Next time I'll try to go visit more fishrooms, by then Andy's should be fully stocked.

I have a more spread out set-up rather than a fish room. The house has no basement and two buildings. I have 20 tanks in 4 rooms across both buildings.
But you are welcome to stop in, I am in zip code 10549 and am about 40 miles NNE of NYC.
I used to fly for work in the 80s and grew to hate it. I did a few round trips in the 70s to Saudi Arabia. As a boy I even flew on propeller powered planes. I pretty much decided I was done with flying anywhere by the 1990s.
