Thanks Tony.
It's an auction, so final price will be determined by bidding. But I've already put a number of these fish up for auction at the Sacramento Aquarium Society, and so far the highest they've ever bid up to was $27. That is not a promise of future performance: Of course they could go higher, but I've also had them sell for as little as $18 each - that's a steal!
Pam Chin is the speaker that night and the talk is on Tanganyikan cichlids - not exactly a pleco crowd, but you never know!
There's two up for auction, each separately, so if you don't get one, you may get the other.
Cheers, Eric

All,
If anyone in Eric's area knows how to bag a fish, put it in a box, and go to the nearest post office, please help me out. I will make it worth your while.

Eric,
Are any of your 397 sexable?Regards

Not the smallest, but I might be able to see males in the largest size. But for females it's not reliable because females and immature/subordinate males will look similar.
Cheers, Eric

Plecos available now:
- , captive bred, 1.5"-2.0+" ... $30
- , captive bred, 2.1"-2.6+" ... $40
- , captive bred, 2.7"-3.0+" ... $50
- For L397, limit 10 total (not per size group) at these prices.

In the next 2-4 months I expect to have available:
- , captive bred, 1.5", $15 USD each
- big spot, captive bred, 1.5", $15 USD each
- If the L201 big spots are growing really slowly and are at least 1.25", then I'll sell them for $10 each; I don't like to rush fish out at tiny sizes, but I also don't have a lot of tank space, so if they are really slow growing and my tank is getting overcrowded (right now I'm awash with well over 150 fry), I'll need to sell them anyway.
Corys available now:
- , captive bred, subadults, $5 each (must purchase at least 5)
- , captive bred, subadults, $5 (must purchase at least 5)

I'm killing you smalls?!? Au contraire, mon ami, you're killing me smalls. You're pro'bly gonna reply with a photo of a tank full of golden vampires, crying, "I just can't seem to sell these poor, unloved orphan fish. Won't anyone adopt them and give them a forever home?" ... all the while playing Sarah McLachlan's "In the arms of an angel" song.
Cheers buddy.
P.S. Are your L397 breeding yet?

Tony, are you keeping the heterodon and breeding them? Or still trying to sell the big ones?
Cheers, Eric

I am keeping them, I picked up a few more to add to the colony for breeding. I'm just keeping 3 groups until the construction upgrade is over lol

Off to market: The last 14 of my F2 Panaqolus maccus (to Carter's Pet Mart in Stockton) and the first of my Ancistrus sp Rio Ucayali to go to a LFS (16 total, most going to Tropical Haven in Modesto, and some going to Carter's). This group includes my oldest juvie, a definite male, which is approaching 6 months old and is already over 55mm SL! Wow they grow fast!

Hello Erick
If you want to send corydoras, you must find out how many you need to send, according to what you send you must select the type of square bag that you should use, you must calculate approximately 9 to 10 cm2 per corydora and 2/3 of the bag left over for the oxygen, pack with 50% O2 and 50% air

The fish travel well in a carry-on suitcase or backpack, if you're making a trip to Central California.
