A few of my catfish photos. Not a big collection yet as it's only under a year i have been really into it.

Male and female looking a bit shy about what to do next in the cave.

Mrs Bronzie, such a hardy girl. 2 times she disappeared for a few days then i found her stuck inside a ornament, she lived. Then lately she was very sick but of coarse she is doing fine now.

Thats my catfish collection so far, not as big of a list or as rare of a list compared to some. But i am working on it. It's hard and expensive to find good fish in australia. I want L numbers like Leopard frog plecos and zebras, so hope to find some soon.

Very nice! It all takes time.... and money. Before long I am sure you will find more to add to your collection... you just have to be patient.

Take care,
Chuck

Thanks mate, well thats it. Will keep looking and saving. My town adelaide doesn't seem to have a lot of L-numbers like sydney and brisbane. Will have to look into postage soon. Wish australia would let more get sent in from USA and South america. But of coarse quarantine is so strict.

Thanks,
Macrae

Nice, thanks for sharing!

I agree with @stuby on the time and money thing, but please know that they are not necessarily related - with time you will also encounter opportunities which just didn't exist in the past and suddenly you have new cool fish you didn't expect even a day or two before.

Good luck, Eric

Came out a little so i could catch a rare pic. Starting to get a bit of length and fatness. Noticed his tail looks a little bent ( Just like my big male common bristlenose ) doesn't seem to bother them though. My common bristlenose was like it when i bought it as a adult and he seems good and breeds regulary. And the fry don't show anything similar, so it must be a fighting injury.

If anyone knows what it might be let me know.

Thanks

Very nice photo of the glass cats. They are hard to take a photo of at all, I find, given how much they like to hide and how little of them reflects light.

I've found that pygmy cories do best with a reasonably-sized school, incidentally.

Thanks Lycosid, was hard getting a clear pic but finally got it. Such a nice different fish.

Ok thanks for the info, i only have the two. I just googled about them and it says at least 8 in a school. I will grab a few more soon.

Cheers Macrae

Picked up 7x L104's, nice size at about 4.5cms. $27.00 each which is a good price over here in australia.

I'm pretty sure this is a female L134, looking a little fat. Hoping it's ready with a few eggs inside.

Starting to get a few more Plecos in my collection finally. It's taken a while to save and then find some nice L numbers. I had to get these flown across from Perth, so not the cheapest way to do it. But very happy to have 3x L007's. One male 7cm's and two females of 5cm's and 5.5cm's. I think that is their sex, that is what they were sold to me as.
They are a really good looking fish and surprisingly not shy at all like i thought they would be.

Just picked up a trio of MFF L377's, this is the big 11cm female. Not the best pic but i will get a better one soon.
