I would guess it's a bristlenose but the pink skin on its lips and nose confuses me. Anyone know what this is?

I think it is an Ancistrus sp. which I have as well.

It has that pink skin on its lips and the restcolor changes from the color on your picture to some broader spots or fields as on my picture.

You can see it a little in the pic but on the other side of its nose the skin is bright pink, it doesn't seem to be part of a normal skin color.

Just a wild shot, but looking at the colour of youâ??re water in the picture I would suggest testing for Ammonia and Nitrite..
Could explain the pink colouring around the mouth parts..

The tank parameters are fine, the water looks cloudy because I just got done redecorating the tank, which stirred the sand up

This fish's pink coloration didn't come on suddenly, there was a bit there when I first bought him when he was 1", and the more he grows the more obvious it becomes.
